After realizing how bad depression was affecting me yesterday, today I made some progress on getting back to normal, which I know will take a while.

  • Took my meds
  • Finished taxes
  • Chatted with a friend
  • Talked to my Mama
  • Took care of myself and my home
  • Cooked supper
  • Played in a cornhole tournament
  • And now I’m writing this post

Whether you think this is a lot of things to do or not much will depend on your individual mental health and your current capacity.  Right now, after this day, I feel exhausted, and I’m hoping that I didn’t set myself back by doing too much.  Tomorrow is Sabbath, well, technically it started tonight, so I’m going to rest and recover. I hope you had a beautiful day today, and I hope tomorrow is restful and meaningful.
