I did that!
One mile hilly walk this morning. My son challenged me to do the balance obstacle, and he was joking around because he didn’t think I could or would do it, and honestly, that’s a fair assumption for a lot of reasons (obesity, in my 40s, out of shape…) but the main reason is that I demolished my ankle in 2021 while skateboarding and the injury has not fully healed. I may never get it back the way it was pre-injury, but it is getting stronger, more stable, and I’m trying to trust it more.
The walk itself was a walk/jog. Like last time I jogged the last 30ish yards. This time I added in a jog up a hill at the 1/4 mile mark.
I’m feeling hopeful about where I’m heading.
