I finished both seasons of Prodigal Son, now on Netflix. I absolutely loved this show. I find comfort in procedurals, but the characters, the writing, the story, all of it was perfect. That is, until the last few moments of season 2, the last season, because FOX cancelled it on a cliffhanger, and not the type that leaves you dreaming about what happened to all the characters, but having enough closure to be satisfied. What were you thinking, FOX????????????????
I am hoping for a miracle and that Netflix will see enough interest to give us at least another season or two that allows for a proper ending.
The fans, the cast, the writers, the characters, and the story were all shortchanged. There were no winners here. We all deserved better.
