Friday, I played in a cornhole tournament, yesterday was a recovery day, and today I played Minecraft with my sons for the first time in a while. I loved playing with them.
We started a new world, and I say this every time, but I’d like for this to be a long term world. I found a great spot near a sunflower field, a cherry blossom biome, and a village! There’s plenty of room for expansion, and it’s not that far from spawn, so I think it’s a great setup for a long term world.
My sons like caving, and there’s also a big cave system nearby! And there’s a lush cave a little further away, but it’s going to be great to steal the moss and glowberries to create a lush cave near our base.
Today I also rested when I needed to, and I got a few chores done as well. It was a pretty good day, and I’m glad I was able to enjoy a hobby today. I don’t know if I stopped playing Minecraft because of depression or burnout, or because I grew tired of it; I’m just not sure, but today reminded me of how much fun it can be.
