I’m working hard to fix my sleep schedule. Last night I was up later than I wanted to be, and I woke up several times. I’m trying to do things a little differently today, so I’m getting in bed early. Nothing changes if nothing changes.
I hope to sleep till at least 3 am without waking up. The sleep calculator said that I should be in bed in 15 minutes to get up at 3 am. It uses 90 minute sleep cycles so that you don’t wake up in the middle of a sleep cycle feeling groggy from sleep inertia. I’ve timed my sleep like this in the past, and the sleep cycles are a pretty accurate way to feel rested when waking up. The trick is getting to bed and asleep at the time you planned.
