This morning I woke up feeling a little blah. We’ve had a revolving door of sickness on and off for weeks, the ickiness of the weather, wet, cold, ugh, depression creeping in a little…a lot of blah. Sometimes the best antidote for me when I’m feeling this way is gratitude.
Today I am grateful for:

- my faith and that God has been working in my life.
- my loved ones, both family and friends.
- for my husband, for the things he’s overcome and everything he does for our family.
- that my adult sons want to include me in things they do, like video games or, more recently, DnD.
- for my snuggle buddy, Gizmo.
- that my sons joined in when I started to decorate the tree this year, making hot chocolate and playing Christmas music, then helping to decorate.
- that I am writing again and not feeling so stuck when I sit down to a blank page.
- that I found a church that I love to attend and miss when I can’t be there.
- for a warm home and a warm cup of coffee.
- for food to feed my family meals to nourish them.
