I live in Georgia, USA, and when you live in the south, you can have all seasons worth of weather in the same week, the same day even! This winter has had some unusually warm spells, so many recently, that some of my spring flowers are sprouting through the ground, and my Camellia bushes are blooming! They’re so confused.
But that warm weather is over for now. I just saw that our weather channel is predicting a 1,2,3 punch of cold weather on top of the cold spell we’re currently in. In the next week, we’re going to have 3 more hits of cold weather. One of those days, the low is expected to be 22F. You can bet that I’ll be rocking my oversized hoodie snuggle blanket thing and some slippers!
When I heard that the cold weather is just going to keep rolling in, I started thinking about all of my cold weather comfy and cozy items, so I thought it might be fun to list them here.
*Clears Throat. In no particular order…
- Oversized hoodie snuggle blanket
- Bootie style slippers
- electric blanket
- Hot tea in a variety of flavors
- Sugar free hot chocolate
- sugar free apple cider
- Coffee, of course!
- Fingerless gloves so I can still type.
- My pashminas and other thicker scarves
- Winter PJs
- Soup, any kind 🙂
